Rotary District 7570 T-Shirt Design Contest
Deadline October 31, 2024!

Overview
Are you a creative and talented high school student who wants to make a difference in the world? Do you want to showcase your artistic skills and win a cash prize? If yes, then you are invited to participate in the T-Shirt design contest organized by Rotary District 7570.

What is Rotary?
Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. Rotary's motto is "Service Above Self", and its members work on various projects to promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water, support education, save mothers and children, grow local economies, and protect the environment.

What is the T-Shirt design contest?
The T-Shirt design contest is an opportunity for high school students to express their creativity and vision for a better world through a T-Shirt design. The design should reflect the message and values of Rotary, such as service, fellowship, diversity, integrity, and leadership. The design should also be original, appealing, and suitable for printing on a T-Shirt.

Who can participate?
The T-Shirt design contest is open to current high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors, or seniors in the United States. Students do not need to be a member of an Interact Club, which is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young people, but they should understand what Rotary is and what it stands for. Students can submit only one design per person.

How to participate?

  • Complete the entry form from the RYLA website.

  • Create your T-Shirt design using any digital or physical medium. The design should fit on an 8.5 x 11 inch paper and have a resolution of at least 300 dpi.

  • Save your design as a PDF, JPG, or PNG file.

What are the prizes?
The winning design will receive a $100 check and a certificate of recognition from Rotary. The winning design will also be printed on T-Shirts and distributed to RYLA participants and Rotary members.

What are the judging criteria?
The T-Shirt designs will be judged by a panel of Rotary members and will be based on the following criteria:

  • Relevance: The design should relate to the theme and message of Rotary.

  • Originality: The design should be unique and creative.

  • Aesthetics: The design should be visually appealing and suitable for printing on a T-Shirt.

  • Clarity: The design should be easy to understand and communicate the intended message.

What are the rules and regulations?
By participating in the T-Shirt design contest, you agree to the following rules and regulations:

  • You are the sole creator and owner of the design and have the right to submit it.

  • You have not copied or plagiarized the design from any other source.

  • You have not used any copyrighted or trademarked material in the design.

  • You grant Rotary the right to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display your design for any purpose.

  • You waive any claim to royalties or compensation for the use of your design by Rotary.

  • You accept the decision of the judges as final and binding.

  • You comply with all the terms and conditions of the contest.
